High end waxes, which one???

Bulla, I do suspect that there is a problem with the way you are applying it; we don't get any kind of consistent reports of this at all. It sounds like it may be going on too thick or it's not being properly buffed. Whilst we respect anyone's opinion, to say Supernatural is a 'mile away' is absolutely unfair. If you think another wax subjectively has an edge, fine, but we stand by its performance as a top flight wax that equals or exceeds the best waxes in the market for far less money. SNv2 ensures the formula remains 100% competitive.

 

Hey Bulla, I am not contesting your statement but I have not seen the issues you have seen with SN. What were the ambient conditions (rainy, cold, humid, excessively hot)? I am curious about this to keep my eye out for future usage.

If my Lambo came with Vintage I would definitely use it (or sell it) but I'm not going to pay the price for it . When I see people paying over $1,000 for a tub of wax I just have to shake my head.:shakehead: At that price you can buy a new Gallardo for under 200 tubs of wax. I just don't see much of a difference in wax costing big bucks and some of the great waxes for under $100 (or even under $50 for tax matter). It's not a matter of being able to afford to spend a lot of money on a wax. To me it's a waste of money. You don't have to spend of ton of money on a wax for your car to look great. That's just my feeling on the subject. If someone else enjoys spending $1,000 plus on a wax it's ok with me.

No complaints on the durability, either. When I posted that review, the wax had been on the car for nearly two weeks - so now, it's been two months. Beading is still nice and tight and the car still looks great.

I had to polish the trunk on a clients M5 today as he had dragged something across it. I used SN for the LSP. As it was cloudy, I got my brinkman out to check the finish and was blown away by how the SN had made the flake pop. I will be ordering a tub of it.

 

@Dodo factory. I have used a few waxes like Megs #16, Nattys Blue, Surf City Berrier wax and in the upper class Swizol BoS, Mystery and Zymol Titanium, Glasur and Concours. And I´m not really a newbie in that way, maybe not a profess. yet, ok. But I never had such problems with a wax like SN. A few members of our german detailing forum (Portal - Fahrzeugpflegeforum.de - Das unabhängige Autopflegeforum und Fahrzeugpflegeportal) have the same problems like I had. There were some stripes and shadows too.

The gloss and the wetness of SN ist just great for sure, but at the end this problems are there.

Maybe its not built fot the german weather...

 

You haven't tried Fuzion yet, have you??? You can't beat it for it's price (I got mine on sale $129.99) and it comes with a free refill...It gives you that crystal clear reflection, different from Souveran...You should try it...It will look stunning on that yellow Lambo.

 

$130 for 2 tubs is not too outrageous. Having to send it back for a refill don't really appeal to even though I live in Florida and receive anything from AG the next day. I really don't care about fancy packaging nor do I want to pay for it. At $65 a tub it's within the price range I will pay wax. I may try it one day. I have been trying to use up some of the waxes I already have. Even with 7 cars I have enough wax to last me years. Like a lot of people on this forum I already have tons of detailing products.
