Congrats and glad they are doing so good. Those pics bring back memories of when my daughter was born pre-mature and we spent weeks in the neo-natal ICU with her. She's a vivacious wonderful 10 year old now. They need to stay 6-7 more weeks because they are waiting for the lungs to be fully developed before they let them come home right?
Awesome man, you guys must be over the moon. I hope all goes well for them and your wife bud, I am sure they are in good hands :thumb: Can't believe how tiny they are...Incredible!
we have a littlw sad news gabriellas haveing a very hard time breathing and had to be put back on the tubes. and tommy is still on the breathing machine. gabriella was doing so well yesturday dont know what happened. i just hope they start doing better soon. its sosad to see them struggling.....
I can't imagine what that's like. There were a couple complications with the birth of my newest son. They couldn't find his heart rate (this was about 20 minutes before actual delivery), and when they did, it was around 65bpm. VERY low for an infant! They broke out the oxygen, the doctor started bringing nurses out of the room to talk to them, and wouldn't let me know what was going on. All the nurses had real concerned faces, and all talked under their breath to each other so i couldn't hear. there were way more nurses than needed for a normal delivery in that room, and it scared the shit out of me. Afterwards, he told one of the nurses to cancel the anesthesiologist, and a couple other people could go home too. It took me a good couple hours, a couple smokes, and a couple drinks before I finally settled down. If I was that shaken up over a relatively small complication, I can't imagine what you are going through. Stay strong my friend. Beautiful kids you have there.
Wow Tom, twins, that's awesome, love the name Gabriella. My uncle was born in 56 also about 2lbs he is now 54. Still in my prayers.
thanks little tommys off the breathing machine today. gabriellas still on it but hope she followes her brother soon. but both are doing ok today...
Wow ! Great addition to the family tom i'm glad to hear things are lookin brighter for you and your wife...
Congrats Tom they are adorable. They may have little set backs but should be fine . Sooner than you think there will be shiny little tricyles ( from your Swissvax) running through your house. AS I said I have shared your experience as my youngest son was born like 4 months early (Now 18 and driving me crazy ) . They will be fine and enjoy them.
My wife wants your babies :shead: Maybe this thread will help me get lucky trying :cig: The babies are precious Tom. Conratulations on the deleivery. Now my wife is praying for you guys also. All she is doing now is talking about your babies :bla2: :bla2: :bla2:
Hang in there Tom ... there are a lot of people praying for these beautiful kids and everything will turn out ok. In a few years you'll have plenty of little helpers that can help you wax the truck. My little girl already knows when a car needs a vacuum ... "papa you need to clean the car".
true. my wife just gothome today from the hospital.babies are still there of course..we will have to go there a few times a day to drop off the milk. they look so sad and like there stuggleing to get catch a breath. i hope in a week from now they get alittle better
Thanks for the update. I guess you are glad the wife is back home. The hardest part now is just patience and let things progress gradually.
