So last night I was hanging out with my gf and she tells me she gave someone my website that day. I said "oh really?" She's a manager of a store. So she tells me how a regular always comes in, and he has a tattoo that reminds him of his wife and the tattoo is of his wife's favorite thing. My GF's favorite thing is Hello Kitty, but she says that I'd never get a HK tattoo (which is true..) and explains that I'm in to cars and stuff like that. He starts rattling off the cars he has, and what he's done to them, of which all she remembers is a '51 chevy and a corvette (no other details, wtf!! ). And then she explains that I actually run my own detailing business and he asks if I do body work.. she says no.. and she tells him "Actually, he does to minor paint chip repair. Also he does some wet sanding and paint correcting. He does things like remove swirls and holograms and conditions leather and cleans interiors" and he asks if she has a car, but she didn't, and gives him my website. I find it very cool that she did this, because I'm constantly showing her when she comes hom what I've accomplished in the halogens: "See, this is what it used to look like (insert super swirly panel) and this is what it looks like now! (show no swirls in halogen light". And she says "oohh shiney!!" But it was nice to know she actually pays attnetion to what I say. And better yet.. sometimes she helps: And sometimes comes along for the support: (notice she's holding the QD and Towels..) That was all.. I just wanted to share that my GF is becoming detailing literate! :applause2:
lol my wife is the same way when we were driving one time she spotted a bimmer and said something along the lines of look at those holograms all over the car friggin' hacks. I started cracking up.
You're a lucky guy Aaron as are you Wes A supportive partner is priceless. Very hard to come by My gf would never touch wheels but she does her best to promote my services.

same here. my gf even made me a website for my business and helped me design my cards, but if i start talking about cars or if she catches me reading write ups shes gives me on of these :shakehead:
congrats! Nice to see the training is paying off. When I start talking detailing, all my wife hears is blah, blah, blah. Sometimes I'll rattle on for half an hour just to piss her off! LOL Great fun!
Exactly man! I always get the " you better don't go spend more money buying waxes and polishes" LOL. I always try to piss her off. LMAO D00t - congrats for having such a great gf.

No I know it's on a main road directly perpendicular to geary. Not an old people's home.. 6 story apt complex. Thanks for the kind words guys! I guess I am pretty lucky!
Haha, nice to hear your girlfriend's helping you out Aaron. My girlfriend is the same too except that she's always trying to push business my way and is interested in what I do. Glad to hear I'm not the only lucky guy.
