no way jose. although they are pretty nice weapons, and have unmatched durability and reliability, 'tis the weapon of the enemy, and i will not own one for that reason. ok armed americans. im expecting a credit card this week, and am thinking about my first purchase on it being a gun. i had to get rid of my glock a month ago (god that was stupid...), so now im unarmed. i want both a nice tactical HD shotgun AND another glock to carry, but i dunno which to get. the glock is obviously much more money, and i can get a nice mossberg 500 series for around 230. glock will run me around 550-600. ugh. plus im trying to be good with my money. i REALLY want an AR now too....
yeah, walk on down to kensington and allegheny under the el and then lemme know how you feel about it haha.
I have a Glock 17 9mm. A couple of my friends and I went shooting last night, they have a few other guns. After trying all of them my friend went and got his .22 rifle with a scope on it, man that thing was so much fun! I never thought I would like a rifle but now I'm going to get one this weekend!
getting started on my AR build: going with a Del-Ton completed upper, chrome lined barrel, magpul ergo grip or MIAD grip, and of course magpul CTR milspec stock and pmags. cant wait!
it has begun: (im picking up a Rock River Arms Upper w/ Daniel Defense Free Float rail system in a couple weeks) specs: M&P Lower Daniel Defense LPK Magpul MOE grip and stock Magpul Trigger Guard daryl helping me out: Daryl Re-Tapping: "What the **** is the problem...?" Daryls on top:
lol, hey man, just exercising my rights! it should be operational in two weeks, but i wont be able to make it to the range until the second weekend in february. i'll let you know. i shoot at classic pistol in southampton, so it actually shouldnt be too far for you.
Very nice toy there billyblooshoes! My toy is a 357 magnum and my motto is if you walk in my place not invited then you go out of place in a body bag.:headbang:
Looks like the AR is coming along nice Billy! You will love the Glock 26. I bought one for my wife to carry, she loves it. The 26 doesn't have that much kick at all for a subcompact. I conceal carry the Glock 27, the same exact gun but it is a 40 caliber.
I carry the Glock 26 as my backup gun for work. It is very accurate has some much less recoil than the Glock 27. I highly recommend it.
I'll go a little different course here and ask if there is any recommended air rifle for squirrels and such, trying to keep the price in check for what the intended purpose is, Neighbors are ok, and i live on the outskirts of town with nothing but field out back. Keep hearing different opinions.
thanks justin. You have a RRA too don't you? And I know what you mean regarding the 26. I love them so much that this is my second one! I carry it every day with incredible comfort and ease. And I just love how it shoots, especially for a subcompact.
That is what I was thinking, maybe something like the Ruger 10/22 rifle. That is a really nice rifle for the price plus the ammo is cheap.
thanks! what line of work are you in if you dont mind my asking? i carry with Hornady Critical Defense. supposedly one of the best SD rounds out right now, although fortunately i do not speak from experience. im drawing a blank on the grain right now. if you want to know LMK and ill check. all i know is that they carry the same amount of kinetic energy at impact as a .40 FMJ, and they're hollow points too. well, technically they are. check my pics in the original post if you'd like.
