I have a couple questions about GH3 -on the Wii

When my son is battling people on line his "whammy bar" funtion is not active and he gets smoked by the other player.. On the screen it will say "whammy" by the colored note bar but he cant get the whammy to work... It's not the whammy itself because it works when he's not battling people on the net.

How does he search for a particular user to play on the web?

He's always looking for people to battle so if you have GH3 share your screen name.. his is razors edge

I haven't played it online... gotta try that now. It didn't work when I first got GH3.

    Sorry, no help for ya.

Have your son learn how to play the guitar for real.It will be much more rewarding in the long run.

That's sick! Starting early is the best :D.

Sorry I don't have GH3... but I remember when you battle you can disable features on the other player's guitar (whammy bar, etc) and you can make their buttons go into "lefty" mode I think haha. If it were me, I would change the settings on the online playing if there are any. I wish I can help farther..

I believe when you battle, you can obtain "pick-ups" that disrupt the other player. He just needs to mash on the tremelo to make it go away.

I FIGURED IT OUT.. Man I scored some major pints with my kid..

here's the deal: When you plug the wii remote into the guitar - you cannot press in the whammi bar.. meaning, while pluging the Wii remote into the guitar, the whammy has to be in it's natural underpressed state..

Man, he was stoked when we tried it and it worked!!

I know what you mean!! That was the issue with the Nintendo 64 controllers... If you hold the control stick the cursor would always go in that direction in a game :p I think it's the same for GameCube also
