c3 is not the same as c2. C3 is a spray nuba wax vs. c2 which is a synthetic sealant (used neat) or a QD if diluted. I would not use c3 as a QD as it does not have the lubrication properties as a QD and use it on a clean surface i.e. after washing. I agree c3 gives tons of gloss but after 12 hrs i had a very slick surface that has staid that way for about a week now.
After seeing that video from a local truck owner it looks promising. Truck is on another island but man if that stuff holds up to the weather in Hawaii you guys will all be good to go. We have some of the harshest elements out here for sure.
ahh got yeah...you'll love c3 a it is very gloss/wet looking and slick also minor marring filling ability.
Wait, but there are two versions of C2: there is C2 Concentrate which can be used neat as a pure sealant, or cut 20:1 as a QD. And then, there is the C2 QD which is just a QD/spray sealant. I wonder if the C2 QD is just the 20:1 diluted version of C2 or if it is better at being a QD and spray sealant.
C2 QD (ready to use from G|Tech) is just C2 concentrate diluted at 5%. Thus you should just get teh concentrate and make it yourself. Also remember you should use your diluted c2 (5% mix) withing 10-12 months for best resuls, I think it is one year may be a bit less but will check.
I'd like to see this stuff on tires or them make a tire product. That would be something incredible. I have to clean and redress my Grapplers after ever offroading session.
I just reading post on another forum of person who bought c4 and used it,say it look great. Then next day it rain and trim was back to normal. Compared to cquartz right now this stuff is way expensive for so little of trim coat and then you say negative response. Make me excited to use cquartz on trims more. c2 is just concentrate of spray wax? Why not use OCW? on prepped paint the look cant be so much different.
Hmm...sounds like he did not clean the trim properly for c4 as many, MANY, people in the UK have had great results and any issues like above have been from improper application. Also C2 concentrate applied is a sealant (not diluted), 5-6 month durability, but CAN be diluted at 5-10% dilution for a QD to keep it topped up or drying aid...
Issue would be is it is literally a coating and would "crack" and come off fast on tires as they flex and bend alot. Nanolex has something in beta testing I think if I remember correctly that is not like c4 but still had decent durability. Now I dont remember if it was a tire product or just a trim product...I will have to try and find it.
Yea in his post he say he clean trim and work into trim well, tho i know with coating you really have to only apply on. I did same with cquartz and it came great but I always working things in thx agpatel on c2. i have reload for now but i never expet 5-6 month out of concentrate mix with water. have you seen 5-6 months on solo product? or this is what they claim?
If you use c2 concentrate (not user diluted with water) you get 5-6 months durability, IF you dilute it with water (5-10% C2 with 90-95% water) you will get aboutg 6 weeks out of it.
