Talked to the 3M rep in my area for sample products to play with during a visit to the body shop for our damaged RX330. Asked for some samples and he gave me pretty much all he had left in the bottles he had at the time :applause2: He gave me a crapload of info too about how to use it too. So that was very nice of him :worship2: I'll be ready to play with these when the body shop gives me a call on a "good" panel they're saving for me :headbang:
are there part numbers on the 1 compound and the 2 polish? Or if someone knows I would like to know so I can order some? I think ultrafina is 06068?
Sorry man, I ran upstairs to take a look and I don't think they are posted on the sample containers he gave me. I'm pretty sure they're on the big containers though...
i tried the new rubbing compound which they said has extra cut than the previous one. It's a very good compound imo. non gritty like they said.. also i noticed it's nice to work like almost close to a polish. i tried it when i resprayed a part of my bumber. it was about 6-65 degrees outside when i did it. that's just my experience though. the clean up of compound sling was pretty easy too. hope you a wonderful experience with it too.
