Gloss-it Signature Gloss

Looking at the "Before and after pics" of Rich a Stone Temple Pilots song comes to mind "Im half the man I used to be......". I walk around @ 265lbs all day Rich and I have not took "Jack s**t" ever, remember "Chest/back and arms"............no squats ever to my recollection.

Love the "Classy" pics of the girls in the pics as well......................waste of beauty, less is more is always the case, where Rich believes "Less clothes is better".

 

What are you talking about? He has done at least half a dozen Ferrari 328s.

Now I realize why he started a Gloss-It web forum. He gets called out by too many industry pros so he can moderate his own.

 

wow guys! I am really caught off gaurd. I never would have thought this at all about the GI brand. I have only spoken to Rich 4 or 5 times now and did find him to be inormative.

the main thing I like is the detail spray, that stuff is simply amazing and does not kill my MF towels as I wash them twice and use the thickest ones that I can get online.

I told him that I wanted the products for half price and told him also that I am not looking to be a reseller but would buy in bulk to get the lowest price possible, I also inquired about the gloss signature (sealant/wax) that he has online going for $1000 dollar per bottle (i think that is way too much and he says it is a better product then swissvax crystal rock, doubt it but try it out today). I bought a 4 oz bottle from him for $250 dollars, and if it works for what I am looking to do at my show (quick wash and waxes that are outstanding and affordable to all customers) then I would buy in but would not resell, would only use in my shop.

right after telling him that I was "trying to figure out exactly what I will need in my shop that I can buy up for $5,000" he insisted right away that he knows what I will need and will make a list for me. I paused and figured i would talk to him about this further next time we were on the phone but am not going to let somebody tell me how to spend my money on products. i know what works for me and will not sway from that.

still have not gotten feedback on how the "Signature Gloss" sealant/wax actually is. also, at $2500 dollar buy in, what was the discount? did you get everything marked down %50 percent? if that is the case, I only want to buy at that amount and will have to have a talk with rich.

We have "Been there, done that" if you proceed with all that has been disclosed then when it goes bad(It will) you will not be able to plead that "You didn't know", we are trying to save you grief and anguish from someone who is "As bad as it gets" imho of course.

As far as the Signature Gloss it makes the finish look very nice, but you need to use concorso gloss to get it off as it will be hard to remove. Now for the "As good as" claim of Crystal Rock.......................come on now, why does he compare to them and not the other way around?, because this is what all "Snale oil salesman" do imho of course......1K for Signature Gloss is so funny I cannot tell you.

Rich by now you know of this thread....................this is what happens when you break your word once again, and another thing Clevie in Bermuda is not involved with you, and also Aubrey in Dallas who came out on his own dime to my shop to "Re-learn" paint correction as the stuff "You taught me" works better in my shop than yours(Shake yourself Rich....you taught Bing and I detailing).

To all detailing Bliss Members, Be aware of Rich Light. Heis a crook! Every single thing that comes out of his mouth is a lie. He hasshaken down old ladies who have inherited their husbands/fathers cars and in atime where they are at their lowest, taken them for thousands on a simple paintcorrection. He has a stripper addiction; he goes from one girl to another andits always the same story, “yeah, turns out she was crazy and…yada yada yada…”Wake up!

I know from experience he has defrauded money from Jimmy.During the signature detailing class he corrected a strippers POS daily (SuzukiRodeo) a rental car, (Taurus) and a Range Rover which he had already doneplenty of. Biggest waste of $2,000+ ever! The funniest part is, they cars leftwith RIDS because his polishes can’t cut.

I know for a fact that Jimmy doesn’t use his products andthey are a total joke. If you look at all his write-ups you can see menzernaproducts by his feet. Lol

He hasn’t given jimmy a single car since he has been in LA.But when you ask him he knows like 21million Ferrari owners salivating over thethought of Signature-Gloss.

According to Rich this customer spent $2,200 if you ask oneperson, $2,000 if you spent another and he left with swirls and RIDS.

I really wish he would correct something more than a $16,000Ferrari 308 once in a while.

The best time ever is when Jimmy did a black 458, one of the1st in the country, Rich said he had done 6, so he asked his head detailerand he said he hadn’t even seen one yet.

Mods usually this kind of drama is not allowed, but in a way it is a PSA to warn guys just what they are dealing with and keep them from experiencing what I went through in supporting this a**hat at one time, my initial feeling of him was correct and I was a goodguy and gave him another chance because at one point I called him on the lying and he did not say he lied but maybe "Embellished" things for sales and I said "Just stop and we can go foward" and we see where things finally ended up.

 

Damn Right Richie! That was a huge mistake in thinking that would go anywhere! christ i had to wait 3 weeks to get paid 360 bucks for a show i did with him! He had huge "debts" he was paying! Stay far far away from the GI company! i have a bottle of Sig Gloss that he gave me, needless to say after 2 years, i HAVE NOT used the product once as i dont even want to try his shit! i washed his products down the drain to use the bottles lol.. the sig gloss still sits, maybe one day ill try it, or try and sell it, or give it the hell away!

side note Richie.. we need to catch up man! fucking phone was stolen, someone hacked my shit and changed passwords and all kinds of good shit!

 

Well according to Rich he should be 40, and he has been in business since the 90's(Like me) and I am 48 and will be 49 in October so the math on this does not "Pencil out", just more "Tall tales Paul Bungyan style" .

Another whopper he told me one time was when I tried to call him and he did not answer the phone for two whole days............and he said he was arrested by a SWAT team because he is such a "Bigboy" for something his Ex girlfriend did(The crazy Brazillian....he likes Latin gals) and I said "Why would you be arrested for something she did to you?"..........come on now................ I was able after a time to be able to tell on the phone when he would make stuff up as he has certain pauses and some of the stuff was outlandish.

Oh BTW I got the foam........................reticulated/non reticulated..................from Europe, where I was a Soccer God (Dave DSMS will enjoy this little bauble as it is a inside joke).

 

ahhh yes i remember this lady you speak of, in Reno he would be on the phone crying and bitching to her... then come out and tell his woes to us... all bullshit lies!

and yes Bob and i had a rocky start in the beginning... right around Reno time, because i was new to the GI crew and he was egging me one to mess with Bob!

Richie remember he was on the phone with Rawmean from L4p crying Bob and David were going to call him out on the forum and he was scared out of his mind!

this is true! Im in South Jersey, Richie- FL, Bob- Cali, Zammie- Cali... and we all chat.. well i haent ever met bob but feel like i know him through Bing!

 

I have heard horror stories about Rich Light from a SoCal detailer as well. Didn't want to post but I guess everyone is letting loose on him lol. I don't remember the exact details but he was trying to get the detailer to carry his line and that the stuff he uses is garbage.

 

not all sucked as most have said, the tire gloss and wheel cleaner were good. but polishes were horrible and didnt do a damn thing. and the detailer broke down MF towels like no other! (rich's towels!!!)
