Glass Scrub and Rain Clear Gel, anyone ever try any of these products? I ordered a 5 dollar kit that came with 5oz of Rain Clear Gel and 3oz of Glass Scrub.

 

I saw they were on Autogeek and I thought I saw them advertised in some car magazine I get.

Was curious about them myself. Where did you order the kit from?

Actually I think it was stated that it is made by the same guys that invented RainX. RainX was sold off.

 

Is it taboo to post a competitors website on here?

yes it was invented by the guy who made rain-x

i've used it. I love the glass scrub. it's a very good cleaner imo. i top it with the gel but i noticed it didn't last long as rain-x. i don't know if it 's just my me.. so what i did was topped it of with rain-x and it lasted a long time.

so my thoughts are the durability is less
the beading did not last long and the water was not sliding of the windshield.

 

I still think you are better off with Aquapel, very good durability

yes i have yet to try aquapel.. PPG aquapel is actually selling on PEP BOYS. i'm not 100% sure if they are totally the same but it's still made by PPG. it's sold for about $8 for a single applicator. I haven't tried it yet. I'll be applying it on my next wash.
