going as fast as I could, but with about 300lbs of luggage and 3 people in the car, the car was pretty heavy...

Dom, this is just unreal, I am unbelievably jealous of your adventure and can't wait for the next parts. I assume the car made it back ok to the states?

WOW! thanks for sharing your adventure. You have my exact beemer that I hope to own next year, Except ill be doing the 6speed manual. I dream of doing the European Delivery. Ive never been outside of the sates and figure this a great way to tour europe. You seriously saved 9k on your car? does this include the $4500 EU deliver program? if so, you basically get a "free" trip with the money you saved.

 

yea, car took 5 and a half weeks to get here, and thankfully didnt get washed at all! (i left a note on the dash to NOT TOUCH PAINTWORK!) arrived unscathed and still with 3/4 tank of 102 octane! which was fun while it lasted!
