Good point. If you go with the Griot's Garage DA (which is great by the way) you can pick up the kit that Troy sells. And you will save close to 100$ off your total order. Instead of having to buy the PC and pads all separate. http://www.autoobsessed.com/shop/griots-garage-ultimate-machine-11718-p-740.html
ohhhh yes kits always good to start off with, i believe the griots pads are pretty much same as the sonus ones. btw mike how you liking the new AO newsletter =p
good point, I use more of the green ubers then anything...... Maybe some black or blue when I apply sealant or wax, rarely do i use orange or even a yellow.
If you were to go with the GG DA, then you can eliminate a few things. Such as 12 pack MF's, Menz Super Finish, ONR, PC, 6" foam pads, backing plate, Menz Super Intensive. The polish that comes with the GG DA kit is amazing and really should help eliminate all haze, water spots, swirls...which will help keep things simple. And the MF's that come with the kit are great as well. Those kits will help cover all the basics and more for you.

Those GG towels look really nice, do you have a costco near by? I recomemend buying the cheap yellow microfiber towels for interior surfaces, wheels, door jams etc....... other then that you have a nice assortment of products and you should be ready to go. Ive never use any GG products........... never heard anything bad about them.
i do have a costco near by, i actually have some of those yellow ones, they are getting old tho, are the blue ones just as good? just looking to freshen my supply. i know you mentioned a fire nozzle wood be good, should i do this? or buy a cheap pressure washer....up until now i have always washed my vehicle at the local wash, which is expensive..but nice!
I would add another grit guard then just go to Home Depot or Lowes and grab a 5 gallon bucket for your 2 bucket wash system, other than that just jump in and start obsessing! Now what about the inside ; ) ?

Please alter the quantity of products marked with (SOLD OUT), Thank you Figured i would just add another matching grit guard bucket so they are both the same(from the other kit), assuming Troy can get these in stock before i place my order. Thanks everyone for the help, i had planned to spend about $500, but $650 is not bad, it was going to cost me $300+ to get a professional correction done, plus this way i get to learn and get the satisfaction of doing it myself, not to mention its going to be needed for when i start installing PPF. Anyone else have some last things to change or modify the order? Thanks. Dustin
