ooohhhhh....:drule: :drule: nice vehicle :thumb:...um...got any more pictures? I'd love to see more of it's sexy curves and not to mention it's interior :thumb: Thanks for sharing :thumb:
ooooh...:druling:..very nice..thank you for sharing :thumb: Man when I own a vehicle like this I'd be taking loads of pictures of it hahahaha..come on I know you got more..share..share :woo:
Nica-thought you'd find the photos of the clear bar install interesting. And what the front end looked like after a trip to Redwood City and back
:rollinglaugh: Sam and Wilson from Premier Mobile--I forget the name of the 3rd guy, I think he was being given some training. These guys do fantastic work.
Ooooh :druling: very nice pictures :applause: okay so what's with all those chemicals what's all that? how difficult was it to install the clear? Now those bugs are are nasty but aren't you glad you got the clear :chest: :chest: :chest: Keep them coming buddy if you got more I'd love to see more of it..by the way the pictures look good..well to me they do :thumb:
Nica, thanks! As to the chemicals etc. I think that they're cleaners to make sure that the paint is as clean and grease free as possible. Then the liquid to apply and seat the film. I believe it's like soapy water or something. Apparently there's some adhesive on the back of the film. I only had the lower area done with the clear bra. I honestly don't like them--but the front does get pretty chewed up with out some protection. I put on a Colgan when I'm on a trip, even so, I've got some pitting on the hood. Hard to avoid--unless you clear bra the whole car. =)
yea I figured they would be porducts to clean the surface just wondering that's all. I know what you mean about the clear protection, I'm not a big fan of it but most vehicles front gets really beat up if you don't put it..specially if you take your car to the track. really nice vehicle you got oh and I like your garage, assuming that's your garage :chest:
I just got a clear bra put on yesterday. It is great. I thought it would look terrible, but it isnt bad. Just looks like you have really bad OP. I think a lot of those spray bottles have distilled water in them. You have to use clear water to install the PPF. The install is pretty cool, but the guys put in some really light scratches when they installed mine. hawt 997! we need more pics....we took this thread muchly off topic hahaha
There is a new clear that Gerry was telling me that is supposed to be much easier to install and hard to see it. Meaning it blends in easy with the vehicle...I haven't seen it my self but my friend Steve, owner of that red SLK will be getting it installed I'm looking forward on seeing it and see what it looks like
Nica-I don't know what they used, but it had that familiar smell of most APCs. Garage is all right, still working on my lighting. Not much room in there with both the Landcruiser and P in it!
Hey uzj I think you should start another thread and post pictures of all your cars, I love Landcruisers :wicked: my dad and I are both big fans of Landcruisers...I purchased the Lexus version of the Landcruiser  But I'd love to see your vehicles and your garage it looked good from the pictures you posted there :thumb:
