Ok, so I made the mistake of missing a few spots after shooting the car with FK425, I really hate the sprayer, it doesn't really mist but rather shoots really hard and splatters. Anyways, I went out to the gym and found out at night that one of the splattered spots got baked into the clear coat. I can't move it, tried alcohol doesnt come out. I just see a pink spec on the paint, kinda like dried real small drop of FK425.

    Any solutions?

Try clay or a cleaner like DG 501. Let us know how it works.

Awesome. I still have to try the other QD's like optimum Instant Detailer, some DG aquawax (not a QD but there's hype about it).

Do you think if I use last touch to get gloss/depth then slap on some fk425 for the antistatic afterwards will work?

I just rec'd some last touch from Slanguage and have not tried it yet so I really don't know.

What I do know is That the FK-425 to me creates gloss and depth so I don't feel a need to use anything else. I also know that other people don't like the FK for the gloss and depth. I would say to you that It can't hurt to try something like you want to try So Have fun and try it...:thumb:

I have white paint and its my fault because I missed a spot.

I tried clay, no good. I'm sure cleaner fluid would work but I don't have any at home.

You shouldn't be punished because you missed a spot though. I just don't understand this. this a fool proof product...

All the other spots that I missed came off real easy. This one spot however, is NOT coming off.

Would some Menz' Intensive Polish and orange cutting pad remove it?

I already tried Poorboys AIO but I don't think that has much cutting power at all.

That spot is so stuck on the paint. Weird that the pink color won't come out either.

Try The IP like you were going to and see what that does. You need a pro's opinion on this...:thumb:

Has anybody tried both fk425 and CG speed wipe? Is there any differences between them?

How is it different? I have tried speed wipe before and i must say i am not very impress with it. Wanted to try fk425 but heard that it is pretty simliar to speed wipe. If only i got the extra $... =(
