First Rotary Choice?

    Yeah I thought I did something wrong when I used his hitachi. Then I found out it was broken. Shortly there after I bought a Makita.

    yeah i think i'm going to skip straight to the makita once my hitachi does the same. i like how the transition will basically be nothing too haha

    IMHO you can't go wrong with the Makita. I can't speak for the Metabo as I've never used one, but I do own both a Makita, and a Dewalt and prefer the Makita overall.

    The Makita is quiter, weighs a bit less, and more importantly is ergonomically friendlier than the Dewalt. Another pro is you can use it at much slower speeds... excellent for bumper buffing where the bumpers are made of plastic and tend to overheat sooner.

    I've never used your other two choices, and I'm sure they're both great. I can tell you though that I really like my Makita a LOT. The controls are well-placed, the slow-start is great, and I love the bail handle. I wouldn't change anything about it.

    I paid $169 at amazon.com for mine.
