First impression of the PC7424XP

WOW!!!!!!

First impression, much better fit and finish....for $139.95 it rocks!

No more vibrations!!!!!!!!! (edit) still some vibrations just a lot less...

Okay going to work on the m3 now and finish the last 2 panels.

I think I have a new toy!!!!

I'll post up more info after the two panels are done and pics!

 

Since they advertize that it's the same mechanism, and in fact a more stout motor, how'd they get rid of the vibrations? Internal vibration-absorbing material? :shead:

 

I still like my old PC, good to hear the newer one is being well liked so far! Looking forward to some pics on a full review.

 

How does correction power compare to the org? Is it getting closer to the Flex 3401 or still far behind the Flex?

I have no idea how they fixed the vibration but I used the old pc last night as my makita died last week and I'm waiting on it to come back and my arms are shot from the old pc...

Okay so it wasn't too bad just a few light scratches. Got rid of them with SIP and Uber Orange Pad finished it all off with Uber Blue Pad and Menzerna PO85RD.

Thoughts there is vibration just a good amount less, its definitely nicer to handle, does a great job at a great price.

More feedback to come as I play with it more....oh yeah the Flex is still a bit stronger...too bad the flex wasn't in the PC body...
