2180 is a top notch sealant. Very easy to apply and remove. Probably my favorite sealant as of now.

The glass cleaner is very nice, dilutable. Pink Wax is easy on/off and cheap. And 108 top kote is awesome.

I've used FK1000P on my wheels and it is soooo much easier to work with than Wheel Wax. I also plan on using 1000P as my winter sealant (topped with Pink Wax) after reading a lot of great reviews on it.

    i got a gallon of 425 and a tub of 1000p.

the tub is huge and if your like me and only plan to use it on wheels. the cure time isn't that bad at all.

2180 topped with 2685(or even 1000P) look awesome.

218 with with 2685 is deep with a warm wet look.

    what is different 218 & 2180? 1000p & 2685?

218 and 2180 difference is that 218 has less cleaners than 2180 and the look is warmer wet look where 2180 has a good cleaners and has a bright crisp wet look.

2685 is a carnauba polymer blend wax with probably 4 months durability, super wet looking on reds and blacks and super easy to apply and remove. 300 hand glaze looks awesome under this too.

1000P is a synthetic paste sealant with awesome durability and a clear crisp shine. Can sometimes be a pain to remove if you didn't apply it correctly.

All of these look better after 24 hours, 1000P gets a sharp solid look to it.

And all of their stuff is awesome prepped with #215 their AIO

Where are you getting your stuff from?

IMHO, 425, 108 and 1000P are "must haves". Pink Wax could easily fall in to that category as well.

You have that backwards, 218 has more cleaners than 2180. Think of 2180 more of pure sealant, and 218 as a prep for it.

218 has very light cleaners, similar to what you would find in another light sealant nothing super heavy like 1z Glanz. 2180 does have more cleaning than 218 and that why its used as a base for other things but just like any other product it depends on your application method. Give both products a good working in on an equal surface, you will be surprised. I was :thumb:

Dude, I'm looking at the FK1 website and it states that 218's cleaning ability is a 6/10 and 2180's is 3/10.

It ranks 2180 higher in protection, durability, gloss and depth.

Do you have any anecdotal experience with them? Or are you really just going off of that?

I've used 2180 before and really liked it. It was very easy to apply and lasted for a solid 3 months before I stripped it off.

Given my experience with 2180, i'm going to go with my gut (and Finish Kare) and say that 218 has more cleaners in it. Hence the word "conditioner" in the name of 218
