Good evening everybody! Love the material I have been reading on here. The pictures are awesome and I cannot wait to grow and develop like some of the pros around here. So recently I decided to go ahead an turn my passion for automobiles into a business. What more could one ask for doing what they love to do everyday? I filled for the LLC and all is good there. I have also applied for an EIN so that should be in any day. I want to create a nice "original" logo but am having a block and cannot think of something. Can anyone here help? Ended up ordering business cards and fliers to help promote in the mean time. Hired two guys that are hardworking dedicated folks who actually work for me at another place of business. Looking to create a F/B, instagram and twitter account this weekend. I want to create a website as well but not sure where to start there. I can probably do it myself but I am pondering whether or not if I should have a pro do it. This week opening up the business account and going to start working on a portfolio. I have most of my equipment (power washer on the way- thanks Phil!!!!). Looks like I've babbled here but I am just extremely excited to have things going!
Best of luck! What did you do before detailing? Hiring two guys before even opening your business is amazing. I can hardly get people where I live to agree to monthly washes and you plan on having enough business to pay for two people, I'm jealous.
Thank you! I'm actually in the airline industry; Cargo Operations for Delta. I've been detailing since my hot wheels days lol. Recently I finally decided to go ahead and make it official. The two guys that I hired understand what it takes for a business to start and develop so getting paid isn't their main goal since they're also doing what they love to do. They agreed to get paid per job instead of the hourly salary. It is more of a hobby for them. I've got one contract to maintain 6 company vehicles and looking to get more business and build long lasting clientele. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
