Thanks Pektel! If I can't sort it out I'll shoot you a PM! I'm doing 2 more 599's next week that also got damaged on the way out... They're nowhere near as bad as this Scuderia, but still unbelievable for being a new car... and especially for one that bloody expensive. No complaints from me though; keeps me working! :)

    Carn Welcome to Detailing

Beatifull work, well done indeed and best of luck for the extra Ferrari/Maser work :thumb:

If I may ask, were there any particularly tricky bits on the F430? We have our 1st one coming up and I want to be as prepared as possible ;)

Thanks Carn! The tricky parts are on the bottom of the doors and near the brake vents, and the humps on the back by the motor are a PITA. You can do one side fairly easily, but unless you're ambidextrous it gets pretty tricky. I suggest using low speeds (900 is the max I went... well actually I polished the entire car at 900 max) on these parts because it's easy to catch a curve and the buffer will get away from you. I used low speeds on the carbon fiber, as well. Other than those 2 places, the surface was pretty flat.

    FERRARI!!

I think I'm getting FERRARI over load here...Ferrari, after Ferrari being posted....makes wish I could just go out and purchase one for my self...but that will have to wait till all the financial crisis settles :waiting: :waiting:

I'm quite shocked at the state of this vehicle though, I mean swirls is one thing but the bumper and that black mark doesn't look good

Congrats on landing the deal with the dealership though well done :applause: great detail and great results, oh that lift by the way is so nice :druling: :druling: such sports car as this one are extremely low.

Look forward to your future details :cheerl: :cheerl:

Oh by the way I edited the tittle of the thread, if you wish to discuss this feel free to send me a PM :peace:

Nice, the new Scuderia convertible. That's my favorite car. Excellent job.

Do it Nica. Might as well get on the waiting list now and by the time you get it hopefully it will be over (wishful thinking).:headbang:

Wish I could my friend, wish I could but just when things were looking up for my dream car a family emergency comes up and puts a significant dent on my account(s)...oh and on top of that economy putting a huge dent into my finances.

Needless to say, cash is tight, so all toys/hobbies suffer :shakehead:...well one shouldn't complain, at least wife and little princess are still alive and with good health...oh and I still have my day job :cheerl:

Thanks Daniel! No I didn't sell myself cheap on this one (well, not cheap by HU standards anyway). I think they appreciated it that I wasn't afraid to ask for the money I deserved.
