i reschedule this car for almost 2 months due the bad weather/schedule. finally i got a hold of it and get it right. Process: Interior: - polish rear window with plexus - 303 protectant on leather (dash , doors , backwall/behind seats, console) - leather cleaner conditioner with soft brush on both seats - optimum car wax on door jams and carbon fiber - vacuum interior Engine: - nxt metal polish for "square" muffler - optimum car wax on side panels - 303 protectant on rubber Wheels: - m40 on tires - klasse aio on wheels Exterior: - 303 fabric guard for convertible top - optimum no rinse wash - claybar the paint /windows - green tape for trims etc - DA on speed 6with Hex polish pad/white and meguiar`s #205 spray - alchool wipe down - protection 1 coat of opti-seal and 1 coat of optimum car wax , same on clear bra and headlights Few pictures before / after Hood before: After: driver door before: After: Passanger Door before: After: Magic...#205 in spray bottle! Many people say this paint is harder.. did you make multiple pass with 205 or just 1-2? To me#205 is really great product that is really versatile and easy use. Also, engine bay looks very good finish from products, nice work on that too
i did only one pass , i work the product around 6 times , first 3 with pressure , after that just light.
Cosmin, Great work. Outstanding car. I apologize in advance if this is a stupid question. I noticed the 205 has a sprayer top on it. Do you actually spray the 205 onto the pad? Thanks, Joe D
yes , i spray like 2-3 times and i have the "prime" pad ready. save on product , and time, and i don`t have to spread the polish with fingers on the whole pad. i didn`t see any problems is cutting/correction. even more i think it works better because the pad is prime and more surface can cut. :mounty:
