wow that's amazing - if you're ever vacationing in Aus let me know!! how did you correct the original single stage paint without removing it? what pads/products? ive always wanted to have our F40 professionally polished but am concerned about getting a buff on it as the original paint is so thin in some spots you can see the kevlar weave under the paint - definitely not something i want to attempt myself even applying swissvax cleaner fluid turned the pad red so i started panic'ing one of the lowest km F40s on the international Ferrari Classiche' registry - thats 879 miles!!!
Was in Australia in "83" on my Navy ship, had QUITE a bit of fun in Perth(of what I can remember, aussie's can DRINK!!!!!).
Yeah, where were you... kinda missed seeing your posts, hope everything is well, and glad to see you back in action.
Ahhh I see, missed this post earlier. Well I'm glad the new management has allowed you to come back. I hate it when things go :catfight:
Wow, my all time favorite car. Can't wait to see the full write up. Awesome shot showing the 2 F-40s in that shop. You do unbelievable work; can't wait to see the finished results this time!
There was some decent marring on the finish which required careful correction due to the thin paint over the carbon kevlar, but the majority of the time was spent on the Lexan rear engine cover. 50/50 of the lexan cover. There were some RIDS that were not going anywhere. Wheels before, I did not have the opportunity to wash the car properly so I used the Auto Glym wheel cleaner and rinsed with my lowe pressure washer. After Removing the LSP
