Is the 240 v version that big of a difference? Anyone know? Not sure if an extra $100 is worth it, but at the price of the regular 70 watt version wouldn't be too bad to upgrade.
Something that runs on 240v vs. 120v usually takes a little less electricity to run. The light is not going to be any brighter. if they both have 2 35 watt bulbs. To me the 240v would be more of a hassle because I already have a 120v extention cord plugged in for my polisher at the same spot I want to use the light at. If my polishers ran on 240v then I would get the 240v light. Since I'm only going to use the light to spot check the panel I working on the savings in electricity will be minimal at best.
update price shipped....$139.95...get on the list... I can have them in by mid to end of next week if I act now.
I'm in if it's going to happen here quick. If not I'm just going to order one at the best price I have found on the net.
does anyone have experience of seen these? or are we just making a GB cause we heard its good? i wouldnt mind seeing pictures of it in action before i commit fully.
I haven't seen anyone who did a review on one. I'm going to go ahead and buy one. I'll do a review after I get it. INFRATECH makes a lot of paint curing lights and has been around about 50 years. INF CM5300: High Color Temperature 5300K Duplicates Natural Sunlight Sunlight Under Any Condition High Power - 70 Watts Large Coverage Area Hand Held - Lightweight Momentary “On/Off" Switch The light has 2 - 35 watt bulbs compared to the 3M Sun Gun's 1 - 35 watt bulb. It should put out twice as much light and cover a wider area. It also comes with a full one year warrenty where I think I read that the 3M Sun Gun only has a 90 day warrenty. I don't mind having a plug in light. It saves the hassle and expense of dealing with batteries.
its up on the site at $139.95 shipped. this price is rock bottom, the 10% code will not apply to this item but can be used for other items. GB for DB Infratech CM5300
I got mine, but need a swirled up car to try it out on. Going on vacation so might be a few weeks before I can review it with pics. Its smaller then I thought it would be. Which is a good thing IMO.
