That does make me mad, especially when you get homeless people asking for money in the subway through NYC and see a bottle of wiskey or bourbon or a carton of cigarettes sitting in their possessions. This is why I never gave them money, but the last time I went through the subway before xmas, I brought a bunch of warm winter gloves and gave it to them.
