+1 with M3ride - I just bought a set of RaceGlaze brushes and they look exactly the same as the Envy brand picture posted above.

I also have the Swissvax brushes set from Phil, and I think they are way denser, more hairs per brush, so they are better at cleaning when wet and dry. They are also very sturdy and take a lot of abuse and still work great. Its like one of those things where you get what you pay for..

Have not tried out my new RaceGlaze brushes, but soon as I opened the box and saw them, I knew that the Swissvax was better.

    Your mileage may differ :)

Do you have the swissvax wheel brush or the swissvax detailing brush? That's the different between them?

    Kaban -

I have both the Swissvax wheel brush and the detailing brush, and actually like the longer bristled wheel brush for detailing inside the car. It works great in cleaning out all the A/C vents, and that little extra length is sometimes all I need to "just reach" that area above the top of the steering wheel column that have the "Tilt up and down" option, etc...

that is what I got, i use them for everything, but I dont use pneu. As for detailing interior, i use sable hair brushes from a craft store. IMO they are nicer then anything out there and are softer and more dense, but a good Sable brush is going to run 25.00 easy per brush.

I agree. I have a black sable brush for doing expensive interiors and it was $50. It is soooooooo soft though. No chance of scratching anything.

good, I am not the only one insane here..... makes the swissvax brush look like a water color brush and I really like the swissvax brushes, but the thing about sable is it actually traps and holds the dust and debris from say, vents. versus moves it around.

    Something like this I believe:
Scharff Brushes, Inc. :: Sable Hair
I'm pretty sure you can go to an arts & crafts store and just ask for "sable hair brush".

Mine is more like an actual paint brush - similar to the swisswax pneu brush.

I don't know if this has been mentioned on this thread, but the interior/exterior brushes and the wheel brush that Gloss It sells are the same ones that RG sells.

I've purchased both Raceglaze brushes from Ken at Autowerkes as well as Envy Brushes from Tim at Envy Valeting and they are identical.

Unfortunately, nobody told me how durable the RG/Envy brushes are...still on my first Wheel Brush and still on my first 4-brush set and have several replacements of every size.

Don't forget Adam's Lug Nut Brush. It's like an SV Wheel Brush on steroids....super juicy! Use it for every car wash (grilles, door jambs, etc.).

I can't say I'd ever settle on just one brush. One is better than the next for certain tasks so I can easily justify having them all on my shelf.

I like the SV brushes better, but RG brushes last longer - A few of my SV wheel brushes have split so I had to buy new ones.

The SV Wheel Brush for the wheel face and the Wheel Woolies for the inner rim is a great combo.

    Kind regards,

    Ebbe
