Settling on a pot of concorso is a REAL nice place to settle.
The cleaner fluid is not absolutely necessary but it is nice to have. As long as you strip the existing wax/sealant off with something, you will be fine.
At least, clay the surface to get it smooth. Because, once you apply the concorso, you will be running the back of your fingers over the surface of the paint often. Its nice stuff.

    Enjoy, Joe D.

I've used Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion and P21s under Concorso with great results.

If you are investing in the Concours, I'd personally go with what is proven and recomended and use the SV Cleaner Fluid

Once you have waxed your car, let it sit out in the sunshine and over time you can see the depth in the paintwork get deeper.

Well, I pulled the trigger on it last night, along with some Über towels, wash sponges, Lusso auto bathe, and Menz 85rd. I opted not to go with the cleaner fluid, as I have been using Wolgang paint cleansing lotion and have had great results with it so far. I figure that should do the job just as well.

Word on the street he's going to do a second run, another 50-60 pots. Slightly different formula but only in regards to the hardness of the wax and the smell. The rest will remain identical. Some found the current wax a bit too soft, I personally wouldn't want it any other way. They'll be in the new pots, and rumor has it he'll make a very high end box as well as an option for those who want it.

So the current Insignis V1 is officially a super limited edition wax, only 60 made. Let's see how good Insignis V2 will be! Cannot wait to get mine.

Looks like I just saved myself some $$$s as I missed the sv sale. I wanted to pick up some wax just to compare with Pete's 53 & Rubbish Boy's.

Got my package today! I was surprised when I opened the box, because it smelled strongly of soap. I grabbed a bag of towels, and it felt soapy. It seemed as though everything in the box had a film of soap, because the Lusso Auto Bathe I had ordered leaked on everything! It wasn't a ton of waste, just yucky having to handle all the slick products. At any rate, the SV came out un soaped, and I'll be giving it a go when the weather takes a turn for the better. I was surprised to see how small the mouth of the SV jar was. Anybody have any tips on what applicator would fit in there?

Yep, I was one who once wax was in roomtemp it would turn very soft and release some oils, Ketil has same issue in summer heat also. I for one will be picking up a pot of the new stuff as it will be harder and the new pot..old SV pots suck at best. Hopefully he can do a GB like the first time around!
