Dupray Hill Injection Vapor Steam Cleaner

I am also on the market for a steamer. It seems like the Hill Injection has the power to clean the interior, door jams and engine bay but I am concerned about the temperature of the steam. At 378F, couldn't be hot enough to damage the heat shrink on electrical wires?

I am sorry for the delay, we're opening a new office and have been in renovations/moving etc for the past couple weeks.

As of right now I haven't been able to put together anything better than the 100$ off and free accessory case for the Hill Injection as they're selling very fast.

We've never faced such a problem but to be very truthful we've not tested it directly on the shrink of electrical wires to see. On area's sensitive like that it's probably best to hit it with steam a few inches away from the nozzle as the temperature drops off quickly but still has the pressure and moisture to help clean.

Update -

Okay so I used my machine to a greater extent today, it was a white 2005 Navigator that was sitting under a tree for year without a wash, wax nothing.

The jambs were filled with built up dust /dirt/pine needles/you name it, it was stuck in there.
With a quick hit of the steam it was easy to remove and worked great!

We also cleaned the interior with the dupray, - leather, door panels were all cleaned up using the triangle tool wrapped with a microfiber towel, pulled a ton of grime and dirt off the interior pieces.

used it on some dirty carpets as well.

This is a great compact machine with a HUGE Bite. I would recommend it to anyone that is serious about detailing.

Next review I'll be bringing this home and cleaning the bathrooms and various spot cleaning on carpets.

 

Everyone should buy one cuz you can use it at home or on your car
Steam them clothes too and you dont need an iron anymore
Steamer will probably become a wife's best friend in time.

 

I would like to hear your review also DD. I'm in the market for one and I'm about to pull the trigger. Does it work as well as they say? Worth the extra $$?

if you do enough cars this will pay for itself. I love it and that's why we picked one up.

 

Now all we need is a little more love from our friend Brent @ Dupray. He seems like a nice guy and all, but one of the competitors is offering a 30% discount AND no provincial tax. I don't expect him to match that, but at least a 10% discount would be definitely appreciated.
I guess I'll wait and see.

 

I'm going to say there is probably a reason for why its not 30% off.
Its probably priced exactly where its suppose to be.
Remember you can only get it directly from them.

I think at $2500 its priced fair and its worth it.

 

i just recived my machie friday. used it to wash the outside of my moms car with onr, and it did a awsome job. today i did a jeep liberty that was trashed. made quck work of leather and vinyl. i will post pics tommrow as it got dark out before i could get the after pics.

phil can i ask what does the temp get to on your machine? mine seems to stick at 160 until i use the steam for a moment than hangs around 175 to 180. on the website it says it should get to 190 celcus/c, also after a couple minutes of use it will drop to like 155. this normal?
