Its funny you mentioned the Red, at first the owner told me he was getting red and I said how could you, the car looks so great in silver or black but after seeing it up close red is the perfect color, the bodyline is just so masculine that it makes any color really pop.

One of my good customers just picked up his 09' GT-R and called me right away for a new car prep detail, he wants his car properly polished and heavily protected before the winter snow comes here in Jersey. When he told me he got red I thought it was a bit over the top on a car that is already pretty outrageous but after seeing the car in person Red is the PERFECT color!

The car is getting a custom clear bra installed next Friday on part of the hood, fenders and rear panels and we scheduled a detail for that Saturday but the owner (being finicky about his cars) decided he wanted all the areas that were going to be clear bra'd properly polished before the clear bra was installed and then I would go back and polish the rest of the car and add the Gloss Finish protection after the bra installation.

So today I focused on polishing the areas that were going to be clear bra'd. No LSP was applied to the GT-R and only the areas listed above where polished so if you think the car looks good now wait until it has its full makeover next week!

I used the following to lightly correct the fine swirls in the paint and jewel the finish to a high gloss...

-Cyclo polisher w/ green polishing pads
    -Gloss It Evolution polish
    -Gloss Enhancer QD

I finished every polished area off with the Gloss Enhancer QD

Good work. How do you like the Gloss It products compared to others?

So far I have been really liking this stuff. I use a cyclo a lot now for 1 step jobs and finishing work and gloss it just works like butter on that thing. I actually just got double sided wool cutting pads for the cyclo and using the gloss it compound I can easily take out 1500grit sanding scratches. With the makita it takes some getting used to but once you really learn how to work the polishes on a high speed the results are awesome. I was a big Menzerna, Megs and 3M guy until I satrted using the Gloss It line. IMHO it surpasses them all, the only thing is that the high speed application has a steep learning curve.

Interesting, How's the mobile use for it in sunlight? Only thing holding the choice to Meg's/UF is the price point for less product.

I work the polishes outside on a regular basis, even in sunlight and never had any problems, They breakdown and buff off the same way as in a controlled enviorment
