Fantastic work Dave. Having a client drive 600 miles to have you work on their car is a true testament to your work. :applause2:

Excellent feedback on that piece. I am with you, I never touch the white balance. In tricky and intense sun situation like you were experiencing, just put the dial back to FULL AUTO and let the camera take the guess work out of it. I hope that helps!

    Thanks Phil.

I sent the owner straight to DD 5 minutes after his detail to get stocked up on goodies, he went home with some great stuff to keep his car dialed in!

Thank you sir, I love working on 911's with the exception of the rear end and intakes on TT's:headbang:

Just a quick question, are the spots left over from correction normal on the 50/50? If they aren't what steps do you use to remove them? The reason I am asking is because I am trying to get them out of my car and I just can't. I don't mean to change the topic, I just saw them and figured I would ask.

If you see what looks like pen dots in the finish that is probably acid rain damage, and no nothing involving paint polishing or prep work can correct it. Most older cars have AR damage left over even after extensive correction work.

Case in point a 1991 NXS... fully corrected yet beneath the defects, acid rain damage
