I dont think smell really matters for waxes. I dont see it ever being a deciding factor for me. However, Id prefer it not to have a bad smell.

I don't think scent is a deciding factor. Clarity, slickness, durability, depth, easy usablility, etc. should be on top. It not like when you deliver the car it smells like an airfreshner going down the road. But a faint smell of coconut would be nice if it doesn't add much to price. What about the smell of a good rum or bourbon?

I like when a scent is added to wax but on the other hand waxes like Megs#16 ,PS21 arent bad they actually smell like crayons..I was surprised the other day when i opened up a tin of FK1 pink wax and the smell was similiar to diesel fuel..the same thing goes for CK products...

so depending on the smell of the wax i can do without ..but would rarher have a scented wax..Coconut sounds good to me :thumb:

to me, smell does matter on an LSP or interior product. Makes the experience more enjoyable, but is secondary to its performance and ease of use.

I actually find the smells annoying. One of the many things I like about the Menzerna polishes is that to my nose, they don't smell like anything at all.

Currently I use zymol HD Cleanse and Carbon as prep and LSP. HD smells like a candy bar and Carbon smells like some sort of fruity alcohol drink. Which is fine - what irritates me is that hours later, my hands still smell of the stuff. That I can most definitely live without.

I don't car about scent as long as it doesn't smell like poo, or permanent markers, or anything that I feel like it will get me high. Other than that the product can smell like anything, as long as it delivers. I'll use it.:thumb:

lol my gf thinks that concorso smells like grapefruit and pineapple, mystery smells likes cocoa butter, and autobahn smells like tanning lotion. Soveran like banana, XXX like pinacolada, Lusso like a crayon ( i disagree) and P21S smells like a mothball. lol

Concorso definately smells better than Mystery.

Anyone know what divine smells like?

As others have said, for an LSP, I think smell is mildly important.

I recently compared Menz FMJ to 1z Glanz Wax. The Menz wins hands down cause the 1z smells like like pure solvent while the Menz is pretty neutral.

Lusso Oro smells really nice, and when I got my tin of Swissvax Autobahn, I showed it off to everyone to smell.

While bad is a negative, neutral or nice is a positive. Too overly sweet i think is also a semi-negative.

IMO having a smell changes your wax from a normal everyday product to a exclusive boutique wax.

Look at all the higher end waxs they all have a pleasant smell

I agree with Richy. I think we all can agree it comes down to performance and durablity, price for the job being done, ease of use (time is a factor to some more than others) and smell IMO. As someone posted if it smells bad or like fart :rollinglaugh: why would we subject ourselves to that! :rollinglaugh:

If your going to have an all natural theme to the product natural sent for sure! also in my opinion no scent would be nice for somone like myself who suffers from migraines and or is alergic to strong scents to the point they cant physicaly use it. But then again makeing an all natural product not smell like anything would make it unatural hehehe. pls stay away from the bubblegum or the perfume/colognes scents nasty nasty stuff.
