Do you first touch up paint chips or polish first?

Hi guys,

I was wondering, I'm gonna be doing a car soon that has a TON of paint chips on the body. Should I clean the chips,remove the rust, and touch them up first and THEN polish using my Flex DA or is it the other way around?

Your going to want to do the touch ups first. You need to let the touch up paint dry completely prior to taking a polisher to it. Usually about a week for the touch up paint to fully cure.
