Do I need a Flex?

So, I used the FLEX for the first time today! I LOVE IT! It's like a PC on steroids! I also used my new Menzerna products and CG EZ Creme Glaze, JS 109 and RBOE. The car looks better than it ever has. I am going to put another layer of RBOE on it tomorrow. I will get pictures then.

 

I have a 9227 Makita but I too am considering a DA but the FLEX is pricey. I was thinking about getting a Griots DA. I like to foam pad using the 9227 at like 1200-1500rpm but I think doing a few more passes with a DA and a finishing polish would seal the deal...plus you can apply LSPs with a DA (right now I have a cheapo 10" orbital that I use to apply LSPs and I get a perfectly even coat every time).

I'm thinking though if I have a FLEX, that will eliminate a step or to in the polishing phase.
