My Audi gives me trouble to remove the subtle holograms and swirls, and i think its due to the very hard clear coat and the need to use slightly more aggressive approaches to finalize the polishing. For example, Menzerna Final Polish and a Black Pad will really enhance my wife's black caddy which has a rather soft clear, but does about nothing to gloss up the Audi using my flex rotary. I'm finding that i need to bump UP to a much more aggressive pad to get positive results.

Did you experience this on the Q7 detail?

I notice your recap said you did a second pass of SIP with yellow and then finished with Menz PO85RD with a blue pad. Was the yellow used due to a hard clear?

    Thanks in advance,

    CG
