Awesome work Phil, beautiful! One of my favorite years of the 911. I would have never thought of using 85RD after 106FA, does it make a noticable difference?

 

i thought it made a huge difference I used 106fa with a green pad to rid of all the imperfections on the paint then used a blue finishing pad with 85rd to clean the rest up...you tell me if it worked

customer was really happy.

 

Looks pretty damn awesome! Next time you use this combo, take a pic after 106FA on the green pad and then again when using the 85RD on the finishing pad.

Sounds like I need to get some green pads, HAHAHAH!!!

911's are a challenge but the results are great! the olders ones have great paint to work with.

How's the clearcoat on Porsches? Is it hard like the VW/Audi?
