Funny thing you mention this. I was just contemplating North Coast Music Fest in chicago september 3-5. De La Soul is playing there, along with chemical brothers, Pretty Lights, Moby, Nas, Paul Vandyk, Umphree's McGee, etc. Check it out here: North Coast Music Festival
Big fan here ... grew up listening to old school hip-hop in NYC in the late 80s and 90s. Bring back good memories. Hip Hop is not what it used to be ... I'm tired of the superficial crap they talk about nowadays.

huge fan of dela soul here.....went to same high school as them. i remember when dela soul is dead came out riding my bike that summer with a box tied to the front ....thats all everybody in amityville listened to that summer

I have met all the guys in De la Soul, when they played at a city festival. I was their driver back to the air port. Realy nice guys!
Speaking of old school, I just saw Arrested Development at a small music festival about a year ago. They were a ton of fun to watch.
