That comes out to 28% if you do it that way Phil. For example:

$100 = order total
20% off = $20 off

New balance = $80
10% off = $8 off

New balance = $72

Essentially, no matter what the actual figures are, if you do it the way you suggested, it will always come out to 28% off. :
