I'm going to try to write up a full review, but had a chance to test mine out last weekend on a buddy's Mazda 3. I polished about 60% of the car with it and my buddy used my Flex 3401. It's his DD, so we were not too concerned with making it perfect and the same level of correction all the way around, just reduce the swirling and gloss it up. I am very impressed with the PE. I don't think you would really need a lower starting rpm range as spreading at 600 rpm seemed perfect. Fit and finish on the machine is excellent. Feels good in the hands, easy to control, buttons and triggers in well laid out places. Speed dial on the side did not bother me too much. As with any machine, you get used to how much the turn increases the speed. I knew 1 full turn bumped me about 1 speed level for example. I do have two nitpicks so far. First, the head does get hot, not to the point where it was burning my hand or extremely uncomfortable, but enough to where it was a little annoying. Second, when gearing down for doing finishing passes, it would really dip power then go to the intended rpm speed. Going from a 3 to a 2 for example, it seemed like it would dip to a 1 speed first for a second, then go to the 2 speed. Kind of weird, but nothing too big. Hope this helps.

that 1-2 speed there is a lag, its done on purpose so no issues there.:thumb:
