oh okay 20PPM yes that sound better...I just replaced my resins this past weekend it was at 120PPM and the resins weren't looking so good :shakehead: I didn't realize how bad the water was here in Calgary

My vehicles get pampered..um...but not so much on the Jeep lol.

 

so u do not have to dry the car after washing?

 

So how long did this set of resins last? Any idea how much water you got out of it?

 

from what I have been told it really depends on the water in your area. As well if you use this only at the time of rinse you should be able to conserve the resin.

 

So letting it sit for months at a time wont use up the resins?

CRSpotless.com - Wash, Rinse, and Walk Away Typical water "hardness" in the states is usually around 250. You can buy a cheap TDS meter for less than 20 bucks. Compare to the chart for the model that you are buying, and you will know how many gallons you'll get.

The resin is only depleted as water is running through it, so no, while it is sitting, the resin will not degrade. Unless, if it is going to sit for a month or more, they recommend that you drain the unit to prevent the mold and crap from building up and damaging the resin.

 

hmmm...:shead:...that's a tough question as I never pay attention, but I remember doing 2 fire trucks, large ones too. About 5 small cars and my Lexus twice.

Oh keep in mind that I use my system to do it all with, not just rinse the vehicle as it's meant to be used.
