HI everyone, After the Summer Detail-M6 showroom thread I posted http://www.detailingbliss.com/forum/f47/summer-detail-bmw-m6-2533.html I mentioned I will do a mini review of CRSpotless water system so here it is. First the unit is just amazing as far as build goes, I basically gave my car a quick wash using regular hose and my standard water filter see in the picture above the CR unit. When I was done I connected the quick connect to the CR spotless system and used my pressure washer to rinse the car again to remove the water from the other unit and made sure all the soaps are out from tight places like the trunk. I was surprised to read the PPM "Water contaminants level indicator" 000's so I was skeptical if the unit even works so I did not want to sun dry it by it self or even let it air dry, so while using Swissvax quick finish and a drying towel, I went drying the car and made sure I leave some water behind to see it work, I left some water in the trunk area to see it will leave water marks. I called the CRSpotless people this evening because of the PPM reading of 000's and he told me where you live the water is excellent and especially that I use another filter connected to the CRSpotless makes the water even cleaner before it enters the CR unit, also there for it will prolong the life of the CRspotless Filters. The water did not spot in the trunk area and I can say that I am happy with my purchase and I recommend it to everyone if you are willing to dash $500 and more including shipping for the unit! Edit: By the way you read this correct, the water has 000PPM so it is 100% contaminants free!

The unit comes with the 2 filters and how often you have to change it depends on the level of the PPM of the water that enters the system, so if you live where water is really bad and has allot of particles you will need to change the filter more often, but since I use another filter before the water enters the CR unit, it will prolong the life of the filters. I was told I maybe can get 20 gallons or more out of the unit before I will have to change the filters, if the water filter meter reads 020 PPM then the water will spot there for I will need to buy new filters. but it will not spot are 019PPM. The 4 filters pack is for $240 which makes no difference than buying 2 filter pack for $120 but these things are sorta heavy so to cut down on shipping price it is best to buy the 4
Nice review, thank you for sharing with us. I would agree with you about the CR System, it really does work and it works well. I've had my unit since last summer and worth every penny...I even purchased the large drum of resins...best bang for your buck if you ask me :thumb: Any who, I'll move the thread to the appropriate section eace:
Unless you have very "hard" water, you should get much more than that. Average water hardness, in the States at least, is around 250. If you look at this chart, you will see that the unit that you have will produce 388 gallons with a water hardness of 200. CRSpotless.com - Wash, Rinse, and Walk Away Thanks for the review.
Thanks for moving the thread Honestly guys this thing made me unsure if I really needed it or not, but giving the time I polish and wax the car and what not of interior work, it is like icing on the cake with no water spot insight! I really recommend this thing for flawless work. Blk45 Thanks for the info! great to know that I knew it will last a long time since I only use it for rinsing after I wash, by the way the rotors on my M6 breaks do build up brown dust after washing but that did not happen when I used the Cr unit! wired I know., I normally move the car back and forth in front of the garage with my foot on the breaks to reduce the dust, I sure did not do it as much with the CR unit used and the rotors were clean
