Well my Uncle is big into Escalades; he has 3 of them. Today seen as my carwash was closed, I thought I would take it up there and get started on a bit of an interior detail on it while there is noone to bug me and it's all warm inside....well I got about a km and a half down the road when this *ucker in a bread truck comes sliding off a side road that's hidden by trees and slams into the side of the truck right behind my drivers door. It slammed me into a really steep ditch and before I knew it I was almost right upside down and had an onstar lady talking to me......:acry2: I walked away with no injurys what so ever, but am really feeling it now. Aynways, just wanted to vent, and for those who are interested in an Escalade....BUY IT! It could save your butt, the truck sure kept me awful safe!!
Glad to hear your OK, yes you will free the after affects of the encounter with the Bread truck, hope you free better soon.

Wow no way, sorry to hear that Crossroad...glad to hear your doing well...funy I was just about to send you a PM asking you about the vehicle and see how the detail went. How's the Escalade? Is it still on the ditch? Where does your uncle live? How did your uncle take the news? I'm assuming you got insurance, phone numbers, ect..ect..right? Sorry for all the questions just curious that's all, the roads right now are very tricky..they are frigin frozen solid :shakehead: they look good but when you try stoping that's where the fun begins :shakehead: Take it easy the next few days...save your energy for Saturday :whistle:...mm...:thinking: is the Escalade drivable? Reason I ask is since it's going to the body shop we could demo how to wet sand....sorry if this sounds harsh just couldn't resist that's all....:whistle:

The vehicle didn't end up getting done yesterday, so i was going to start on it Today. I went and got it this morning after classes, and was heading down from his house which is up on the hill behind spruce meadows when I got hit. The escalade is quite likely a write off. The truck hit me on the drivers side extremely hard, sending me into the ditch where it went on it's side and part way onto the roof. The doors no long line up, and the rear tire on the passenger side is bent quite severely. All the airbags went off, and all the glass but the front windshield was shattered. It was quite the mess. The truck is now sitting at Jack Carter I think, they had to pull it out of the ditch and put it on a flat deck to take it away. My uncle took it extremely well, it was my Aunt who freaked out worst when she got the onstar lady calling her saying the vehicle had been involved in a roll over accident and the occupant had asked that she be contacted. They both knew it was the other drivers fault, and I think she may hve even slapped the guy:giggle: when she was yelling at him for being so reckless. All the insurance information was taken, a lot of which was handled by the police. No worries about the questions, keeps me busy answering them! The roads definatly are tricky, and unfortunately in my circumstance, it wasn't me that was having the hard time. I was toodling along fine when this thing came out of nowhere and got me! I dont think that the vehicle is going to be any good for wet sanding practice, it'll most likely end up at the junk yard or something after tomorrow my uncle figured. I'll get all rested up for saturday. I have a doctors appointment for tomorrow afternoon to check out some issues I seem to be having from the accident; my left side keeps aching and then going tingly/numb ever once and awhile. Figure I best get it checked out. A little bump isn't going to keep this boy from detailing though!!!:woot:
Oooh that tingly/numb feeling is not a good sign, I agree get checked out and reast up for Saturday. Glad to hear your doing okay and your aunt sounds like fun hehehehe slapping the other driver hahahahaha that's funny...um..kinda. Yea, I think I may have pinched something in my back from bracing for impact or the impact of him sideswiping me. My aunt and uncle are great fun, I'm still picturing her smacking his guy; PRICELESS:giggle: hahaha he's got all his toys out in kelowna, all he has here are the escalades. I think we need to do a road trip out to Kelowna and do up the seadoos, boats and the new car he has on order once it gets there
