What a horrible paint job. You did a great job of making it look absolutely stunning though. I just can;t believe a shop would put out work like that... jeez...
Sweet^^^^^^Anxouislly awaiting more pics of this one :woo: I have a retired Stock Broker customer that has an 1983 xjs. He has had sense new, about 5 yrs ago he had the whole thing totally redone. The "NEW" Crate V-12 alone was $25,000 :yikes:

I agree, when wetsanding heavy op, you need to dry the area constantly to see if it's flat. Taking off clear on the high side is safe. When you start to level the paint is when you need to pay close attention. BTW good job!

You are right I went to NY just to hang out with Matt at Detailing Dynamics he is the best host I could ask for this was one of his cleints that caught wind that I was coming to New York and Matt set the job up. Matt opened his home and his shop and treated me like family. I could go on for hours.
