I've read a bunch of threads saying it was a pretty decent polisher. It may not have the best correcting properties but it's great for doing light work in tight places
with the Meg's D300 its a great machine, this is one of the machines we were teaching with in the orbital class.
I like the machine a lot and I've been using it for sometime now. I would not bring it in to the store unless it was worth it. I'll let others chime in. :thumb:
haha good call I should have thought of that first, I know you wouldn't stock it if it wasn't up to snuff.
I noticed that (Phil using the Griots), but didn't want to ask. LOL. I have had 2 pc's, the Flex, a Makita, and of all of the machines I've owned, the Griot's is by far the most comfortable to use. The bale style handle is fully adjustable, and the machine itself has nice power and good ergonomics. I was just talking to Kilo6_one about this recently. LOL
Less vibration and you can tell it's more powerful. I haven't compared the sound levels, but I didn't notice a big difference. I got the Griots about a year ago and keep my PCXP as a backup. One thing that people with PCXP's might complain about is the switch location on the Griots. Other than akward switch locations, it's a pretty neat machine.
I find the switch location better than that of the PC or the Meg's. I've never accidently bumped it off while working, and it's nice you just have to tap back on the switch and it switches off. I've had mine for a couple years now, and I love it, wouldn't trade it for another kind.
I have the 25ft. cord and its a paint to deal with. Constantly tangled and mangled, should have chosen the stock length.
