My favorite legal stogie so far is CAO Cx2, the only place you can still buy it is Famous-Smoke.com. I love the spicy flavor and pine notes you get. If you like some spicy notes you will love the Cx2 and for $112 shipped for 20 it's a great buy @$5.60 a stick. CAO CX2 Cigars
I always look forward to burning a Cx2 with a nice cup of hazelnut coffee. I wasn't to thrilled with the Italia, and the Brazilia but a Cx2 or the Cameroon are just pure joy.
I haven't tried CX2 or MX2 yet. The Brazilia Gol is very good, especially at under $3 per stick. But, my heart lies with Cubans. I'm working on a box of Boli PC's right now.
I'm going through a box of RYJ right now, love that distinctive flavor a cuban has. Give a Cx2 a try if you like spicy/earthy flavors it's real treat.
Cigar smoker here too, are you guys members of any cigar forums? I'm a member of Stogiechat, good group of guys, very laid back and unpretentious atmosphere, unlike some cigar forums I've been a member of. Cuban cigars are great, and I love the unique flavor profile of some of those smokes, but there are a lot of really great non cubans as well. Some of my favorites atm are from Pepin/Tatuaje, they both have their own separate lines, but also work together on lots of stuff, nearly everything they produce is great, and the prices range from very affordable, to pretty damn expensive. Diesel is a fairly new line, and their unholy cocktail (all I've tried so far) is a great cigar, and super reasonable, 30ct box for $99, they're a steal. Padron are TASTY and super consistent, they're thousand line is terrific tasting, especially the maduros, but you can splurge a bit on their anniversario series, and you will not be disappointed. Padron Londres Maduros are one of the best tasting value sticks you can get, easily obtainable for $50-60 per box of 26 El Cobre is another good smoke, strong at first, but mellows out as it ages, and it can also be had for pretty cheap, I think they pop up on cigarmonster for around $60 for 25 every so often. Drew Estate is mostly known for their terrible acid cigars, but they've actually made a hell of a cigar called Liga Privada, which are phenomenal, highly recommended. I like to pair cigars with good rum (Ron Zacapa is awesome), coffee, or coke. I recommend looking into heartfelt humidity beads, they come in different RH levels, I like the 65%. They hold humidity really well, and I very rarely have to add any distilled water. Oh another great stick that I've fallen in love with recently is the Cain F from Oliva! Awesome smoke, just picked up a couple from the big easy cigar shop on ventura blvd, studio city, highly recommend checking out this cigar.
Stogiechat member here (cantsleep) I just don't get on there to much (kinda like here), no reason I just spend most of my time on mustang forums and forget about it.
