Wolf, your the man that is top notch work on that truck. :applause:Now that is the the most dull plastic I have ever seen on one truck. Again great work as always, PS I finally going to get a chance to use rubbish boys today:applause2:. -Corey
WOW that was a heck of a job!! Very impressive!!! I love that he honked and gave you a :thumb: That had to bring smile to your face! OUTSTANDING!!! Your welcome! It's a nice tool be sure to take care of it and rinse it in alcohol after every use. I like mine wrapped in a MF :thumb: Can you tell me the difference between black wow and black again? What else have you tired? Obviously black wow is amazing, the pics prove that!! Is it safe to say it is your favorite?
Wolfie....very very nice..Awesome job....the whole truck is MINT....your details are A+ so not much to say but great... heres a little trick I posted before with using WOW..I apply it...and then use the DG 201 over it..it locks it in since the 201 is a polymer trim sealant.... Now i am willing to bet if you added a few squirts in a bottle of 201 you will have a great trim dressing that lasts and brings it back to life....try a 4oz sprayer...add 5 drops of WOW to it..and rest 210...Ibet it comes out great..my days off this week thats exactly what I am going to do....I need to see if the mix first..if not I will do like you..a drop or 2 of WOW and a spray or 2 of 201 on a MF applicator.... I did the WOW and then topped it with 201 lat fall on a truck and it still looks like I did it..no fade back yet...but you need to prep the plastic....prep sol with a magic eraser and clean off all the oxidized plastic and then apply it.... 201 specs....it works on trim so no worries..DG said its great on trim Is a blend of synthetic polymers which adds luster and softens vinyl and leather. Penetrates quickly and will not leave a greasy residue to attract dust and soil. Great job Al
Thanks Heath! Appreciate the compliments. Thanks it was one of the more dramatic before and afters I have done. He was very pleased and wants to have me do his wifes van and his Harley. I'm looking forward to getting into doing the bikes as there is a HUGE market here that is completely untapped. Thanks bro I have to give a ton of credit to the DG lineup for making the white pop. Nothing looks as good on white as DG 501/DG 601/DG 105 combo. Big thanks to Al for that tip :thumb:. I'm anxious to see how long it lasts. I've done the same thing to my trim on my Jeep Grand Cherokee and Volvo XC 90 and it has lasted many many months. They were not in as bad of shape as this was but its worked really well. Hey if it holds up maybe GM can come to me for advice :headbang:. Thanks bro means a lot from a detailer of your abilities :thumb:. Thanks Corey. You are so right about it being the most faded trim I've ever seen. Dude I can't wait to see and hear your thoughts on Rubbish Boys. I really think you will love it as I know I do. Keep me posted on how it goes. Tonya I've never tried black again but black wow is everything its hyped to be. Its not the most user friendly product to use but if used correctly yields some absolutely stunning results. Like I said in the post if you have a lot of trim real estate I would reccommend using the CGs Trim Gel to help out. That combo worked like pure money for me. Yet another great tip from you Al. Man if you only knew how many of your tips I put to use on every single detail that I do you would be asking for royalties! I'll have to give 201 a try for sure.
Awesome job there! They really loved the plastic on those Avalanches. DG looks really nice. One day when I am back home I am going to go by their place. Are you using the spotless system for the entire wash or just the rinse? Again nice job.
MATE some stunning work here! Hey, great work on the wheels and tires as usual! You can really see how making them look the way you did shows off the MEATYNESS of the tires, WICKED! You've got me convinced on the DG line of cleanres and polishes, I have to get my arse down to Carquest and pick some up. GREAT WORK MATE, top notch as usual!!!
