    there are always enzymes in every plant and trees and every living thing. us humans have enzymes too. if i remember this correctly (something learned from nursing school) enzymes are proteins, like in humans enzymes are needed to digest and help absorb food to the body... blah blah blah...I don't want to look back to my nursing books anymore. hihi

    OH HERE'S SOMETHING FROM WIKIPEDIA
    Enzymes are biomolecules that catalyze (i.e. increase the rates of) chemical reactions.[1][2] Almost all enzymes are proteins. In enzymatic reactions, the molecules at the beginning of the process are called substrates, and the enzyme converts them into different molecules, the products. Almost all processes in a biological cell need enzymes to occur at significant rates. Since enzymes are extremely selective for their substrates and speed up only a few reactions from among many possibilities, the set of enzymes made in a cell determines which metabolic pathways occur in that cell.

    Like all catalysts, enzymes work by lowering the activation energy (Ea or ΔG‡) for a reaction, thus dramatically increasing the rate of the reaction. Most enzyme reaction rates are millions of times faster than those of comparable un-catalyzed reactions. As with all catalysts, enzymes are not consumed by the reactions they catalyze, nor do they alter the equilibrium of these reactions. However, enzymes do differ from most other catalysts by being much more specific. Enzymes are known to catalyze about 4,000 biochemical reactions.[3] A few RNA molecules called ribozymes catalyze reactions, with an important example being some parts of the ribosome.[4][5] Synthetic molecules called artificial enzymes also display enzyme-like catalysis.[6]

    Enzyme activity can be affected by other molecules. Inhibitors are molecules that decrease enzyme activity; activators are molecules that increase activity. Many drugs and poisons are enzyme inhibitors. Activity is also affected by temperature, chemical environment (e.g. pH), and the concentration of substrate. Some enzymes are used commercially, for example, in the synthesis of antibiotics. In addition, some household products use enzymes to speed up biochemical reactions (e.g., enzymes in biological washing powders break down protein or fat stains on clothes; enzymes in meat tenderizers break down proteins, making the meat easier to chew).

    but this is different how human body uses enzymes

    now CG is so smart to use the term "enzyme". very smart.

    I can't wait for FMINUS's review.:applause2::applause2:

    Propolis is an enzyme found in beeswax ( a secondary component found in most car waxes). Collected by Bee's it comprises approximately 55% resinous compounds and balms, 30% beeswax, 10% aromatic essential oils, and 5% bee pollen and is used as a binding agent. (see Zymol estate glazes)When used in a car wax the enzymes, when heated cause the wax to set-up.

    Just my opinion- I think this has more to do with Marketing 'science' (i.e a jstification for a products price point) Something that a certain wax company does very well at

    I can only coment on what the product mfg states his product contains, otherwise I might be subject to litigation (its a dog sue dog world )

    When it comes to product marketing and technical specifications, it is also important to realize that all companies must keep secure their proprietary information and agreements. Without this, no business would have the incentive to develop new products, expand their market, stay competitive, and ultimately - exist.

    Interestingly, the food and cosmetic industries manage to survive despite having to legally disclose ingredient contents ;)

    yes they do manage.. but they manage by only saying what they need to say. every company does not have to give there recipe.. look at high fructose and sugar.. they say and or sugar or HF.. look at coke.. you think people know the whole coke recipe? i mean come on.. you think people know how to make chips ahoy just b/c they can read nutritional facts? all i do is package food. it is an awesome industry.. to say they have to list nutritional facts and main ingredients is one thing.. to say they have the recipe is a whole other ball game.. companies do not have to put down absolutely everything.. what do you think "other" or "natural flavor" is implied..in different plant's for coca cola again for example all the coke at each plant will differ in taste a slight amount from the other.. some use sugar if in that country sugar is plentiful..they may use both sugar and high fructose. they may add ingredient A to make it taste more like coke b/c of adding the raw sugar instead of high fructose since we have all become more dependent on high fructose from corn.

    and dom just let it go..maybe they don't want you to use it to try and copy them..they do have a right. why would they just hand part of the recipe no less the main ingredient over to the public.i mean do you really know what makes coke taste like coke from reading nutritional facts? just let it go.. jeez.. it is starting a lil rumble on here.. is it worth it?
