I've used these towels 1x so far and they are nice quality towels. However, the Cobra Supreme 530's feel a little softer. I use the same detergents, etc to wash both... Maybe they need to break in some more :waiting2:

 

ive washed mine about a half dozen times (with CG's microfiber wash) .. they feel the same .. might have to try out the Cobra's .. im new to the detailing so i havent ventured away from CG products .. Paul just gives me great prices so I keep going back ( CG is a 5 minute drive for me, better than waiting a week for a AG shipment)

Stick with the local supplier Check out the vendors on this site. Great service and products. Every once in a while AG will have something of interest that may pull me in, but otherwise I've graduated to the vendors on this board :headbang:

I don't know about this one. I just checked them out and to me they felt less than soft and not as thick or as fluffy as I thought they would be.

 

I think the displacement is there, but they do not appear as soft as my Cobra Supreme 530 towels... At least their shape is consistent, unlike the Cobra's.

 

i wish i would have read this before hand. I washed mine and my yellow towels turned green :doh:

 

I also have a set of the Shamrock 750 towels. Even though it was their second wash, my white LC pad came out a minty/lime green. :shrug:

 

Have you washed them more than a couple times yet...:thumb:

 

Only 2x max so far. Haven't gotten a lot of time to play with my detailing goodies. I did however use the CG's wash :thumb:

Have they gotten softer in your experience the more you use/wash them?

 

Thats a loaded question. All mine have been washed twice but thats it. I haven't used them yet. I'm gearing up But the way they feel right now I think that they will get softer. Thats just me though. Thats why I asked you that. We are in the same boat so don't rock it...lol...:giggle::giggle::giggle:

BTW: My MF fetish kicked in and I've have an order of the Uber "NoName" towels on their way soon. Read good things regarding other MF's sold by Phil, so my expectations are high and shipping is reasonable. CG's shipping is killer.
