I let it sit anywhere between 20 minutes to an hour. When I'm detailing a vehicle, I cannot let it sit for 12-24 hours though, that's my main problem...

And I agree with the look, it's fantastic even after 20 minutes to an hour...

I had a Honda Civic that I put Jetseal on and nothing on top of it and I got it back exactly 2 months and 1 day later for a maint. wash and water was still beading great by my standards. But how well the beading and sheeting is is much like the look of something its really subjective.

For hobbyists, leaving JS to haze/dry for 12~24 hours "might" be possible....

what I don't understand is, once the product (synthetic sealants in this case) is dry/ready for removal, does it make a difference or should i say how it would make a difference?

JS is one of the best looking sealant, but WORST durability (6 weeks at best). When I use a sealant, I want it to last at least 3-4 months minimum. Why use a sealant that last 2 months anyway??

I only use it for wheels now and the funny thing is I know that I could use my collinite and would still have better durability. I guess I feel bad not using a product I paid 40$+...

I also think it's another classic over hyped CG product...I will definitely never buy another CG sealant unless I see some real results...

    my 2 cents

Maybe you have a "better" batch of Jetseal? We all know that CG's batches can vary, maybe that's it...

I agree with you pirex. And for the record I'm on my second bottle of the stuff and have it out of two different batches. Until I could prove that DG 105 had great durability too I had a tough time convincing some cutomers of lighter colored cars to let me use it over Jetseal.

Let me ask you this...If I buy a sealant and I need to leave it on for 12-24 hours...before buffing off..and pay 38.00 for it...and durability is sub par...or I can get a sealant thats 10.00 and buff off after 30-60 minutes and last 5 months...and both give great looks..to me any ways...which one would I buy....

After reading on the UK site I see most have resorted it to wheels now...

Now to me..the Factory seal or even the M seal lasted longer..and to quite frank has the same look to it...

maybe the batches do vary ..who knows....but if they do its a crap shot if you got a good one...

Do you apply Jetseal straight after polishing, or do you wipe over the car with alcohol/top inspection to remove the lubrication oils first?

Lubrication oils mixed with js cant be no good.

Another option is to apply Ez Creme Glaze first, topped with Jetseal its a killer combo ;)

I must give DG 105 more of a chance!

I have tried just about every sealant. For Durability Zaino is tops followed by DG .
CG Jet seal looks great but as everyone has stated it's not as durable. So people just go for looks and some want both looks & durability, For me Zaino is the best of both worlds.

I agree with Dogma..for the price of jetseal..I would get ZFX and z-5 pro around the same cost..or get DG 501..105 and AW and change left over for a burger...and have way more durability and looks...the new SpeedArmor357 better last till the second coming of Christ for that price...and look like diamonds on the paint....

I agree! $60 a bottle, it better have at least twice the durability of DG#105, and at least the looks of Souveran paste...With 2 months durability, I'll be better off with liquid Souveran. It gives me same stunning look, lasts 2-3+ months (when washed with a gentle shampoo, not citrus wash and gloss), and costs much less...

damn I just ordered from Paul the other day too and he mentioned these products but he didn't say they were ready yet! I'll have to give him a call this week to see if I can get my hands on them.
