wow, great looking car Chris! Good to see that you wet the floor before hand. So many "painters" just wetsand it out later.

The car was not painted in my garage but we did wet the floors when I painted the undercarrige and engine bay. Saves sooo much work.

Loving this thread. I get info on how to take an entire Cobra apart and put it back together along with some Wheel Cleaner advice!

I personally have P21S Wheel Gel but it's so expensive that I only use it on my best details, and then only the front wheels.

Might have to give the Chemical Guys stuff a try.

Chris. Beautiful car bro. Makes me miss my 96GT. The intake and valve covers look great btw as well as the rear-end.

I had a small detail job this past weekend (sorry, no pics) and used the Surf City wheel cleaner for the 1st time. The wheels were not that bad but the barrels in particular cleaned up really nice. I'm looking forward to trying this out some more. You can use it dry or wet on the wheel too (the instructions say dry, but I had called them and that's what they told me).

I just ordered 2 liters of it yesterday and 2 liters of the glass cleaner because I keep reading great reviews about both products. I wasn't going to order the 2 liter bottles until I saw that they are offering free shipping.

I used premium blue on a detaile this week. The rims was pretty clean. But it did a great job, and the dirt on the tires was running off, just like with ARO.

I've got the Blue Citrus Wheel Cleaner on the way from CGs. I can't wait to try this stuff out.

i use ARO AND SURF CITY on customers cars ,the ARO i use on cars with oem rims and the SC i use on custom wheels ,but like was stated ealier the SC is just not cost effective i would love to find a wheel cleaner thats safe for all wheels even non coated alum that still gets the job done.

I hate to say it. Poorboys Spray and Rinse is my favorite wheel cleaner for BAD wheels. I recently replaced it with Chemical Guys Premium Blue for obvious reasons.

There is something about the Poorboys, but I wont return, its too expensive for regular use.
