CG new wax ?

Emile or what is his name that posted his collection last month already has a "tub" of it

 

Unless it lifetime refillable I think $1800 for any wax is a bit much for any wax, you could start a small detailing business for that much

 

I want that container....

 

Any news with this "new" wax there is nothing on CG web site its shut be a real good one

Thats what I do. I'm old and wise. No seriously. I'm just saying that, in the last 18 months, I have had the opportunity to try waaaaaay too many waxes and that if the vehicle it was going on was prepped properly, the differences were so minimal, the cost couldn't be reasonably justified. I'm not trying to ruin your fun, I'd just rather see you spend a whack of cash on a wicked polisher, or PTG or anything to make detailing more enjoyable and that you will use all the time. Sorry for sounding like someones dad but.......

 

I don't know some people try to rationalize the purchase of a wax, or a car or a stamp or a rock..ect..ect...wax for me has become more of a collection. When you want something so insignificant as a wax or a baseball card or a stamp and you want to add it to your collection you'll find any excuse to have it added in your collection....well at least that's how I feel about waxes now. I've spent a significant amount of money on waxes but every time I look at my wax collection it makes me happy, so much that I completely forget/ignore exactly how much I've spent to obtain all the waxes.

At the end I've accepted that my wax collection will never be complete, I may have the full line up of Zymol or Swissvax but there is always something else to add, weather it be a $12 wax or a $30,000.00 wax it's all the same to me...just my opinion :shrug:

Besides, we all know it comes down to what ever the market will bare, companies will probe and push till they get the price they want...I personally don't pay attention to hype or commercials...if I want something I work hard to obtain it and when I have it I sit back and enjoy it, that's why my wax collection makes me smile every time I walk past it :thumb: Again just my :2cents:

 

Aaaaaaaaah, the never ending debacle on cheap vs. expensive waxes. I say buy what makes you happy.
