Wash: Citrus Wash and Clear
Polishing: Single stage w/ Menzerna PF
Top Coat: Single coat of Black Light

That's it ........ I have a new favorite topper in the making. Didn't have the Hybrid spray sealant with me on site, but will next time.

 

Can I put Powerlock on top of Blacklight?

 

Yes, you can. I put Zaino Z8 over a coat of BL when I was playing around with it, now I follow up with V7, but when I talked to CG, they said any sealant can be used "but why", they are under the impression that this can be used as an LSP with no need for anything else, but recomend using V7, yeah I know that makes alot of sense. ........anyway , I would do a test spot to check to see if it changes the why BL looks. ..........

 

Anyone try black light on white paint, I ask because I have been so pleased with it on my black paint I suggested it to a buddy but his truck is white. CG's does not mention it is color specific.

 

Do we have any members that have had a layer of BL on for over 3-4 months that can comment on durability?

 

my moms MKX is going on 3 months, still there........ Topped it up with V7 only once since I treated it. The V7 is the durability culprit, lasts maybe two washes IF that, when I do a maintenance on it next time im using zaino spray seal.
