Happy Turkey Day fellow DB'ers just wanted to post up thanx last

weekend i was able to acquire a paint gauge, actually i had my dad pick it up for me

since it was @ the HBF tools where my parents lived.. i took delivery of the tool today =)

so out of the box i just tried it on my bro's 07 camry

hood and trunk lid 120's-130-140, something(sorry i was checking car during COD2)

doors, fenders, and 1/4 panels 110-120 readings

**** did not calibrate tool*** just tried out of the box
i think the craziest deal i got closest to this was my current Snap-on Tool box

@ work, was almost "free" compared to msrp anywayz.......

can you ask your dad if they had more?

 

as far as i know that was the only one @ that store, i had to have to girl, save the item

for me. call my dad to make the purchase... but he had to ask the girl reserving tool for

purchase. then call the girl @ the store and tell her my dad was going to make the purchase

for me and i told him (my dad) ask for Leah and she kinda knew what i was asking for and

price,the only thing i was afraid of was them (HFT) selling my dad a micrometer =(

 

My stores near me were sold out also. I would be glad to double somebody's money if they have any spares.

Went to HF yesterday with no luck.

I talked to the manager at the Garden Grove CA store and he gave me alot of info.

EVERY store in CA is sold out... Same thing with AZ.

The 2 stores that have the highest count of these items in in Erie, PA & El Paso TX stores. I called and confirmed they have them.

 

will stores ship out items or do you have to physically go get them.

 

you have to get them phisicaly. otherwise i would already asked them to ship. im trying to see if any of my accord guys are in erie that can get them for me

 

how many in el paso?? i have family there, as long as i get one or two, i'll sell the rest to you guys at cost + shipping of course

well i just called the el paso store, the lady there said they are out! i dont know of any other areas to check but i'm kinda giving up. sorry guys, if any one finds them and gets a few, put me down for one please
