Does anyone know what makes the honeycomb effect on the auto glass during the winter? I've been noticing that a lot of cars have this honeycomb halo effect in the glass. I don't recall it during the summer months. My Vette which is kept in the garage has it bad where my daily drive is less. Does it have to do with the temp and amount of sunlight?:shead: Just wondering!
hmm. interesting. any pics? I dont think it would be sunlight. It would be less strong in the winter, due to the earth tilt. maybe the cold outside vs the heat inside. i dunno.
Its built in UV protection in the glass. If you wear polarized sunglasses you can see it on alot of cars.
True that... I just get used to it lol It looks REALLY cool when you see newer car headlights with Polarized sunglasses you can see a rainbow of colors because of the light spectrum :hippie:
